Standard stump grinding removes the visible stump approximately 4–6 inches below the surrounding ground level, leaving the area ready for soil, grass seed or future landscaping. Deeper grinding is also available when required for projects such as patios, pavers, concrete work, pool installation, garden beds or other landscaping and construction projects.
Important: Stump grinding removes the visible stump below grade. It does not normally excavate the entire underground root system.
